Stars Squash was established in 2002 by ex-international and Welsh captain Andrew Evans. It is a squash business incorporating coaching for and from all levels, beginner to elite, with its flagship being the Academy.
The Academy has players who are not only the best in Wales but also among the top players in the UK and Europe.
Academy director Andrew Evans played for Wales for eleven years and was Welsh captain and gained 62 caps. He then became Squash Wales first Director of Coaching and Development, a role he fulfilled for eleven years.

Saints has one of the strongest junior sections in Wales with over 60 active junior players. They range in age from 5 years old to 18.
Saints has around 20 players in the Welsh Excellence and National Squads and 10 Welsh champions.
Junior coaching takes place in groups on Saturdays from 12pm - 3pm in 3 separate groups.

Saints has a very strong base of teams with five teams in the North East Wales league on Tuesday nights and two in the North West Counties league on Thursday nights.
In the North East Wales league we have three teams in Division 1 - the 'A' team 'B' team and All Stars and two in Division 2 - the 'C' team and the junior team.
In the North West Counties league the 1st team plays in division 2 West and the 2nd team in division 4 South West.

Saints holds internal and external events. Internal events held annually are the Vale Road Car Sales Junior Championships normally around June and a club Handicap Tournament held during the season.

External and open events are held and sanctioned by Squash Wales. They include the Welsh Junior Closed held at Saints bi-annually and the Buckles/Anwyl North Wales Junior Open held December/January. Also the Artiste Management Prestatyn Junior Open held in August and the North East Wales Open held in November.

Coaching is available for groups or individuals. The coaching is headed by Director of Stars Squash, Andrew Evans and assistant coaches Jonny Jones and Emily Strickland.
Saturday Junior coaching is from 12pm - 3pm and is assisted by Tim Bridle.
All coaches are qualified, registered and insured. Andrew is a level 4 elite coach and Jonny, Emilt and Tim are all level 2 coaches.

Saints and Stars Squash run their renowned squash junior camps, at least one in Easter for 3 days and a summer camp in August for 5 days which is followed by the Prestatyn Junior Open.
They are headed by Andrew and assisted by 3 coaches to have a good player/coach ratio. The camp programmes cover all aspects of squash and are also lots of fun.

Saints and Stars Squash run a very successful handicapped summer league every Thursday from May to September. It is open to all standards and is great squash and an enjoyable social evening too.

Saints is affiliated to the governing body of Wales - Squash Wales. Saints and Stars Squash work very closely in partnership with the body and holds the Denbighshire Area Performance Centre, Excellence squads, Elite Training squads, National squads club and national events.
