At Saints Health and Fitness, we have a sauna located in the men's changing room and a steam room in the women's. After working up a sweat in the cardio suite, weights rooms, or one of our fitness classes, take a few minutes to ease away the tension in your muscles.
Using the sauna improves blood circulation, sweating, immune system, muscle tone, and can provide relief from sleeping disorders.
A steam room is an enclosed space with large amounts of high temperature steam, creating a high humidity environment.
Our steam room is located in the female changing room.
Drink more water before and after using steam room
Take a warm shower before entering
Do not exceed 15 to 20 minutes per session and make sure you are totally cool down before start next session.
Saunas provide a wonderful way to warm up during cold weather and a great opportunity to relax in a social setting.
Our sauna is located in the male changing room.
Stay well hydrated
Don't use if you are using medication
The appropriate amount of time to spend in the sauna is around 15–20 minutes at the most.
