His training style is totally encouraging and supportive and, even more so, he has a great personality and a sense of humor – which always helps Amy Coxon Jeff- About Me Personal Information: Father of 2 Nationality – British Former General Practice Chartered Surveyor Taken early retirement I have worked or been involved in the health and fitness Industry for over 20 years, having set up and managed a weight training gymnasium in Colwyn Bay in the late 1980’s, the first of its kind in the area. At that time I trained a number of male and female amateur bodybuilders up to national standard, who were successful in a number of competitions at both local and regional level. I also entered at the same level with reasonable success. I have also been a keen Mountain Biker for around fifteen years and am a qualified MTB Trail Leader. I have participated in ‘Spinning’ for approx 12 years and have been an instructor for 9 years training firstly with ‘ Team Pulse’ and subsequently transferring to Schwinn Cycling as a Gold Level Instructor. I have been taking Spinning classes at Saints Health and Fitness, 2 to 3 times a week for a number of years now, covering beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. In addition, I have adapted weight training exercises and techniques to create specialist classes for abs, legs bums and tums and ‘Body Blitz’ which is my own system of whole body training utilising light dumbbells, steps and mats. I run this once a week at Saints and while originally designed as an advanced class for men, this has become particularly popular with women who now easily outnumber the men. I have also recently started offering personal training on a ‘one to one’ basis in the gym.
